Vaaranam Aayiram

All is well that ends well. I guess that's the only reason why everyone in the theatre was waiting. We were all waiting for a good ending to an average movie. But the ending "also" disappointed.

Instead of Vaaranam Aayiram, the movie should have titled "Oru Daddy-in kathai". Surya uses the word Daddy every minute for the whole 3 hours and the word starts paining the ears towards the end of the movie.

Surya has acted well and the story also sounds good, but the screen play is very sober and slow paced. It really felt like a documentary. I guess the director tried a different way of narration, which unfortunately did not click.

Surya has developed a good physique and his looks are making me think again about exercising. May be people will find me on the treadmill soon :-)
