Movie day

It should be a record of sorts. With nothing else to do, I have indulged myself in 4 movies today. The movies are Swordfish, The chronicles of Narnia, The departed, and Thiruvilayaadal aarambam (Tamil).
My opinion on the movies -
Swordfish - Stylish. Typical action movie.
TCoN - Nothing great
The departed - Wonder what the Oscar judges found in the movie
T.Aarambam - Nice time-pass

Ram,

Your taste in movies has gone to the dogs. Seriously, you didn't figure out why The Departed won the Oscars. Man, you deserve an award just for that.

Start developing a taste in good movies for a change. You have the guts to call Thiruvilaiyaadal Aarambham 'good timepass', and abuse The Departed.

Ram, watch better movies man.

Cheers..........Jam

Jam,
I hope the award for me comes with some cash as well :)
Anyways, I am not the kind of person who would look at a movie and comment on the way it has been taken. If it entertains me, then it is good enough.
The departed was good, but certainly not great. I am surprised that even after all the things that we learnt, you still wish for all human beings to have the same taste as yours. I wish to be departed from your view point ;)

similar feelings about The Departed...gripping but nowhere close to winning an oscar. Babel was probably better though i wouldn't have given the oscar to that movie either. I watched half of Little Miss Sunshine but it wasn't very impressive. I did not watch the other two [:D]

But I wouldn't have been surprised had Leo won the best actor award...he was good.

Oh my !!! Echo Jam.. the direction rocks.

Look at the genius points in the movie. The diaglogues.. they're class.

'He's not quite a guy you can't hit, but he's almost quite a guy you can't hit'. The Cranberry juice dialogue. Serious class... watch it again.
