Paritrana: A IIT-ians' venture

Five guys from IITs of which some have done their post-graduation in foreign universities have started a new venture. Going by their backgrounds we would expect the venture to be a highly technical business. But actually, these guys have started a political party. When most people are happy in making money and achieving personal success, these products of India's esteemed colleges have decided to give something back to the society. Well, someone finally felt that cribbing about the political system is not enough and decided to jump into the stream to clean it.
Quoting them from ET, "We are not here for the power game. We are here to deal with the grassroots issues of each and every small village that we come across". Nice motto, nice initiative. Best wishes to them; we do need better people at the helm who would worry more about the country rather than their alliances and ways to win elections.

All my best wishes to them. But we should not be quickly making conclusions here. Just because they are young or from IIT does not mean they would actually worry more about country rather than their alliances. Lets wait & see how things turn out.

came to know about it a couple of days back. my best wishes to them although i dont quite believe in their mission and ideology. They seem to be more inclined towards culture and tradition than the society(no-i dont believe that society is all about culture and tradition)...time will tell how good they are or can be...

@Ravi
I accept that politics has one of the most profitable business models around. But I do believe that guys from IITs have better places to make money than politics. Still, I accept your point... let's wait and watch

@M.E.
I did not come across articles indicating their cultural bent. I too believe that society is more than just culture and tradition. I saw their statements showing their inclination towards solving basic issues and that's what made me applaud them.

@MJ
Yep, let's follow them. They could be role models on what to do, or what not to do.
